This demanding refurbishment project carried out on behalf of Main Contractor Laing O”Rourke was always going to be a tough call. If ever there was a case of trying to fit a quart into a pint pot then this was it!   As always the Main Contractor had committed themselves to an incredibly tight programme and duly passed the pressures on “down the line” where we as “cosmetics department” picked up the legacy of such decisions in the final, hectic days (and nights).

The work itself comprised of a major refurb throughout the shopping centre whilst endeavouring to minimise disruption to daily trade. This effectively consigned much of the work to be done at night, especially high level malls and walkways where sizeable access machinery had to be manoeuvred repeatedly.

In addition to the “refurb” an impressive new extension building was completed during the same programme period and to the absolute delight of the shopping centre management!  State of the art lighting systems complimented our own high quality decorations to provide a magnificent display for all.  Another job well done and on time!
